The Graduation ceremony of the 5th class and the Opening ceremony of the 7th class of International Master of Medical Biotechnology, a joint training program between Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Sassari University, Italy.

On April 12, 2019, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and University of Sassari organize the Graduation ceremony of the 5th class (2017-2019) and the Opening ceremony of the 7th class (2019-2021) of International Master of Medical Biotechnology. This is a joint training program between Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and University of Sassari, Italy.

The delegation from University of Sassari includes Professor Pier Lugi Fiori, Chairman of Department of Biomedical Sciences; Associate Professor Daniele Dessi, Director of International Master of Medical Biotechnology, Eramus+ Coordinator, University of Sassari; Professor Bruno Masala, Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry, Honorary Professor of Hue University and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Ms. Carla Urgeghe, Manager of Eramus+ ICM project between Uniss and Hue UMP. The ceremony also welcomed Professor Vo Viet Minh Nhat, Deputy Director of Training Department, Hue University.

From Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, there are the participation of Prof. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Acting Rector and the Rector Boards, Leader Representatives of Functional Offices and the Professors involved in the International Master course and master students.

The 5th class students are granted the Master Diploma by Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Professor Daniele Dessi and Professor Pier Lugi Fiori

The joint Master’s degree training in medical biotechnology was approved by the Decision No. 1024/QD-DHH, dated on June 04th 2012. Currently, the total number of students are 68 students for 7 courses. By the framework of training curriculum, all lectures of these courses are provided in English by the prestigious professors from Italy and other countries, the clinical training and thesis preparation are organized in European laboratories and universities. The qualified students will be granted the Master Diploma by University of Sassari. There are 10 students in the 5th course completed 16 modules and theses, granted the Master Degree this year.

On this occasion, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy also announces the opening for the 7th international master class (2019-2021) with 11 students. This course has supported by Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) project. Erasmus+ CM is a funding scheme of the European Union supporting the exchange of students, academic and administrative staff between European and non-Europeans Higher Education Institutions.
