Following the success of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility –ICM (2018-2020), the next stage of ICM (2020-2022) has been approved in early August 2020. This is a funding scheme of the European Union supporting the exchange of students, academic and administrative staff between European and non-Europeans Higher Education Institutions.
In the afternoon of June 8th 2020, Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, warmly welcomed H.E. Mr. Paul JANSEN – The Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam visited Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hue UMP) in the framework of his mission at Thua Thien Hue province.

On April 12, 2019, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and University of Sassari organize the Graduation ceremony of the 5th class (2017-2019) and the Opening ceremony of the 7th class (2019-2021) of International Master of Medical Biotechnology. This is a joint training program between Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and University of Sassari, Italy.
From April 7th to April 10th 2019, Associate Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Acting Rector, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, with other Leader from Medical Universities in Vietnam attended the 2019 World Federation for Medical Education Wolrd Conference held in Seoul, Korea with the theme “Quality Assurance in Medical Education in the 21st century”.
