The decision on appointing the Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy for the tenure 2019-2024 announced

On November 7^th, 2019, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy hold a solemn announcement ceremony of appointing the Rector of the University for the tenure 2019-2024

Attending the ceremony were Professor Le Quang Cuong, Member of the National Council of Vietnam Education and Human Resources Development, Vice Chairman of State Council of electing Professors; Dr Tran Viet Hung, Deputy Director of Department of Personnel and Organization, Ministry of Health; Dr Nguyen Minh Loi, Deputy Director of Department of Science –Technology - Education, Ministry of Health; Associate Professor Nguyen Quang Linh, President of Hue University; the representatives of leaders of departments and agencies in Thua Thien Hue Province; the representatives of international partners and universities such as Sassari University (Italia), Harvard University (USA), Karlstad University (Sweden), Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan), Gachon University (Korea)  and Health Volunteer Overseas, Health Advancement in Vietnam (USA)… and all the former leaders, officials and employees of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The ceremony proceeded in a solemn atmosphere with Associate Professor Nguyen Quang Linh, President of Hue University presenting the Decision No. 1456/QĐ-ĐHH dated October 31^st, 2019 of the President of Hue University to appoint Associate Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Acting Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University for the tenure 2014 - 2019 to hold the position of Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University for the tenure 2019 - 2024.

A/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh, President of Hue University, conferred the Decision appointing A/Prof. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy to hold the position of Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy (2019-2024)

Delivering a speech after undertaking new task, Associate Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy expressed his sincere thanks to the Presidents Board of Hue University; University officials and employees have trusted, confide in and entrusted him the position of Rector. In the new tenure, based on the university’s core value, namely "Widsom - Compassion", he will try his best to enable Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University to strive and develop, to reach a new height, become an institution with these distinctive qualities, namely "Academic Excellence - Effectiveness in Management - Reputation in the community".
