1. INTRODUCTION
The Department of Dermatology was established in June, 1975 and was managed by Duong Dinh Chau, M.D (1975-2004), Tran Van Khoa, M.D (2004-2014). January 2015 - present, Mai Ba Hoang Anh, M.D, has been the head of the Department.

3. EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate training.
- Develop curriculum and teaching plans. Compile the curricula and textbooks. Propose the development of additional plans, improve teaching methods; ensure quality, content, and training methods. Participate and organize other educational activities in general curriculum and plans of the university.
- Manage the Dermatology Clinic - Hospital of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and work at the Dermatology Department - Hue Central Hospital.
- Organize CME and seminars.
4. RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION
- Scientific research is an important mission. We have done many studies and published in national or international journals (Journal of Medical Mycology, Molecular Genetics & Genomic Medicine)
5. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
- Cooperate with HVO - USA: every year one or two doctors of HVO come and word at Dermatology Clinic, give lectures for post-graduate students.
- Cooperate with IHU - France: study in infectious diseases.
