1. INTRODUCTION

Hematology Unit was established in late 1977 and has been developed to become the Department of Hematology in the late 1990s. The department takes over teaching undergraduate for general medical students, bachelor in medical technique; teaching, supervising thesis and dissertation for graduate students. The department also takes part in medical examination and treatment at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.

3. EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Undergraduate training program: Teaching Hematology Blood transfusion for general medical students, students of medical technique.
Graduate training program:

• Resident doctor and Specialist level 1 Doctor in Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Specialist level 2 Doctor in Hematology
• CME in Hematology and Blood Transfusion
• Master and PhD of Biomedical Science
• Certificate of Hematology Transfusion for Specialist level 1, level 2 in Internal Medicine, Specialist level 2 in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Master and Resident doctor in Anesthesiology
